"Branching
is a developmental milestone when the chicks begin to venture out of
the nest and into the surrounding limbs. It typically begins at about
9-10 weeks of development." ~ the Center for Conservation Biology
I observed this eaglet out of the nest on a branch today. It eventually moved back into the nest for a possible nap. The eaglets are close to 10 weeks old.
